Take off the plastic trim piece (dont know a better way to describe it) Find the solenoid and loosen the screws just enough to move it. Move the solenoid away from the latch. Give it a test run. If you have a fold down rear seat, you might want to fold it down prior to starting the adjustment. If it alls go wrong you can crawl in and readjust the solenoid's position. You might try adjusting the latch also. I played with it for ~20 mins and it's ok now.
My interior release stopped working first then the remote stopped working, just like yours.
