Oh my god, this cold start grinding noise is SO BAD now that it's cold... it has always been there after my car sits for a couple of days or more, but now that it's getting colder, it sounds HORIBLE in the morning when I start my car. I swear this thing is going to blow up. The car is in cherry condition in and out, oil changes have ALWAYS been done on schedule, now since I have had the car (for the last 12k miles)I have been putting in Mobile 1 5W-30 synthetic oil only. Someone please help me out here, this noise is getting really loud and it is imbarassing when it happens in front of people. Other than this noise, car is flawless (outside of the ocasional IMRC failure but that's a whole different storry).
BTW, I have a 98' SE 2.5L MTX.
