I talked to the guy tonight for the first time and he said that everything has been taken care of. The 100,000 mile turneup was done and every recall was fixed. I am feeling better and i think i am going to push my g/f into this deal. Its black (oh so hard to keep clean) with grey leather. I am getting used to the idea of a contour in my future. Thanks guys for all your input.

sounds like a good deal to me...and black is a fairly rare color...at least here where i am...i just saw a dusty 95 se today for the first time in a while

i know the current owner mentioned that everything has been taken care of, and i haven't yet read the decarbonizing link but one thing that has to be decarboned or cleaned is the egr ports behind the throttle body and the throttle body itself....if it gets real clogged it will throw a check engine light

just a tip but the car sounds like it should be a gem....oh yeh ask him about the waterpump...mainly whether he's had it changed or not...they tend to go on the v6 pretty much without warning

they waterpumps go out with out anywarning mine did
it was insane
