Dooing the contour conversion is relativly simple just time consuming and the weight adjustment is not really of merit. The aluminum block of the V6 is only about 150+ pounds more.
And for your info ZX3tuning is adding dual turbos to their contour V6 conversion sometime in the following months.. Its looks to be quite a nice setup... Now if i can just talk them into selling me the car....

the duratec barely fits in a focus. how are they going to fit 2 turbos?

Good question.

Though they brought this idea up around a year ago so they are probably still in the "where the Hell are they going to go" stage.

i think they are gong with two rather small turbo's, there was a big write up with pics posted a while back.


1999 Silver Frost SVT #609 of 2760 Quaife, lightened SVT Flywheel, SPEC stage II clutch, removed resonator, k&n drop in - various other goodies too.

Even if the blowers are smaller, the plumbing will be the crux of packaging it. Yes it's possible, but only with heavy investment and creativity, IMHO.
