THe connector on the bottom looks familiar, the black on e on top doesn't.


As far as not bypassing the amp...you are aware that most quality head units often have a higher output than the stock "premium" amp. I don't think anyone even knows the specs of the stock amp. I do know, that after removing it from my car, it is a cheaply built POS. Find the cheapest, carappiest amp you can in ANY store, and the ford unit looks cheaper. If you do have a fairly expensive HU running through the stock amp, don't tell anyone because they will just point and laugh.
