Hi, I heard some ford dealers f**ked up the aftermarket stereo when they did the recall. So I'm going to remove my cd before I go get mine done. But I still wonder to what extend the dealer will tear things off and if the mounting sleeve of the cd receiver will still be in the way if I don't remove it. The sleeve is a metal shell that got clinch-installed in place of a stereo head unit before you slide in the head unit. pretty hard to get it out. Someone has gone through this recall please help.
