hey nyceboi,
weren't you the one who showed us the link to the BBB, not to be mean or anything, but from what happened with the cougar I don't know if it is such a good idea. Have you talked with the guy that's doing your car, didn't he leave. I don't know, I am not trying to bring anyone down because I would love to have a body kit for my 96' tour. just a thought.
Well, from what I understand from the first post in this forum that Andy's is under new management. IF and ONLY if this is true I would leave my 96 with them. I asked to be emailed because I do have these concerns and wanted to discuss them ahead of time (plus that's why I would rather let someone else go first, I hate conflict)
Chris at Kaotic (previously at Andy's, not sure why he left) has been really professional and gave me a thorough walk around of the shop and current projects. He showed me exactly where my car was going to sit when it wasn't worked on, where it will sit when it is worked on, told me that they will at the very least start it once a week, they took down the current milegae, we went over the interior and exterior of the car and detailed the findings on the proposal which we both signed with witness from myside and his. I was also given Terry's assurance that everything would be fine. I would definatly do business with either of them in the future.
As far as Andy's goes, I am weary but I share the same passion for our cars as many of you do. If I can be on the forefront to get things done, I'm going to do it. The aftermarket needs to know there is a need and I want to show them how serious we are. The reason why things don't get done for the Contour is becuase one or two people have an idea but not enough people can back it.
One word of advice, if this is to ever be a production kit make sure you get a GB going otherwise it might not be worthwile for the shop.
This is where I got the links for BBB and Neco

just thought i should clarify, the lead designer/production guy is leaving Andy Autosports to run his own company and we will have his full attention as one of the first projects he completes under his new business. I will be dealing directly with him and quality control will be as unbelievably tight as it is right now. sorry for any confusion...
Chris is not the owner nor ever was of Andy's, he was R&D. His most recent accomplishment were 2 cars for the new Fast and the Furious 2 movie. He's also sought out for headlight and taillight conversions, widebody kits and various performance parts (including turbos). Chris has something like 12-14 years experience and lots of credibility.
