Great point! i learned in school (lol) that contacting the media will help get things done! go for it! get the media involved because it makes the dealership look bad and Ford as well.

Is there a way for this dealership/svc dept to blackball your car from all future warranty work?

Lento -- I know that there is a common computer system that they can look up your car on for anything at any Ford dealer. I think they call it OASIS. Any repair or parts installed are on this huge computer system, identified by VIN.

I had a similar run (although mine did not result in an altercation ) in with a Pontiac svc dept on my firebird re: warranty work and mods to the car...the svc manager threatened to void my warranty on their dealer network database so I could not get future warranty service anywhere. I had to get the GM district mgr to intervene and authorize the TSB work.

I wonder if this dealer could do the same on OASIS?

I had the same shifter cable problem!!!!!!!!!I payed out of pocket. Kick the manager in the WaHoo
