they say that this generation is the least brand loyal i see that is true , all i have ever owed has been ford ive never had a reason to switch

Up till 1983, I was Chevy/GM all the way, then Ford's got better, with the 83 T Bird and 5.0 Stangs.

My Dad still has a Buick, but my sisters and bro have all had Fords and have had good luck. Me, I had one lemon out of 4 Ford cars, it was a 94 v6 Stang, :P.

Only imports i'd get are Nissan, Mazda, VW, or some Toyota. No Hondas here,

haha! the only gm vehicle i really like is the mighty z06. the best gm car available is the pontiac vibe, cause its a toyota gtps arent bad, just to heavy, slushbox only, and still wrong-wheel drive

GTPs with 3 simple mods can be in mid 13s low 14s. I wouldnt call that slushbox. it is kinda heavy though. If im not mistaken jeff was at 37** when we weighed his car.

And then add the 300+ lbs jeff is and damn that car is heavy. Kev did you buy the GTP????

GTP , v6 supercharger 3700+lbs with a atx , contour that is almost paid off w/atx add supercharger car weighs 3000lbs almost the same thing if done right... and the contour would hand the gtp its ass on the twisties, but oh well just a thought i say if your gonna go new go better than a V6

The 2004 GP comes out in March and will have more HP and a new interior.

I think of the 2003 Mazda 6 as a "new gen Contour". Someone will eventaully drop the new 220HP Duratech from a '6' in an old 'tour.

BTW: The WRX is cool since it started a HP war with carmakers!
