I have 18's on my car with Eibach/Koni setup and the car handles and rides amazingly.

Yes pretty adversly affected. My car litterally hops at high speeds around a corner (have 17's) It's unconfortable and rides rough (not to the extreme, but defanately not like stock). I'm too cheap to buy new struts and have somone install them for me, tryin to save up for the Mazda 6
