Take the plastic piece off as described above and click the button on your remote a few times. You should see the little cable move. If it doesn't move, it's probably a bad solenoid. If it moves, try adjusting it as I described above.

I had eacctly the same problem

I fixed it last week

Remove plastic

Loosen 2 torx screws on latch

Push DOWN ~1/4 and tighten [trial and error on 1/4 "

Mine workedafter two adjustments]
