Okay, get this. Mercury Dealership says "it is an internal problem within the "Stereo"" Could replace with the same for $700!!!Ha ha ha, could get a kick a** system for that. A close friend is a former stereo etc installer, he thinks it could be a cable or the sucky connectors. They offered to "send it out for repairs" for $150. The thing that bumms me out is that for 4 years, my husband drove the car and save for getting creamed by a dump truck (who left the scene) some recalls and a cat under warranty, he had no problems. I get the car in April this year, had to fix the tail light assembly ($367 dealer quote) with a $2 tube of silicone, replace the washer relay, put up with an aching hot summer with no A/c, (dead compressor) get flatbedded to the dealer for a spent alternator, only to lose my right channel. Man o man.
