Hey everyone, I did a quick search and couldn't find the answer...so here we go:

I just bought new Pioneer speakers (the 6x8 2-way that fits our car) to replace all 4 stock speakers. I figure there were good medium cost speakers ($75 a pair). I am also running a Pioneer 45w x 4 cd player (bought last year). I'm picking up a little too much radio noise at "medium" volumes and up. What's the deal? The cd-player sounds real nice, but I'd like to clear up the radio! I was extremely thorough and positive everything is connected right. BTW, I did do the premium amp bypass. I have no intentions of getting subs/amps either.

I don't know if this would affect anything, but the antenna (not power) is missing the little "ball" on the end. I do remember my physics professor explaining that the ball is placed there for a reason (i don't feel like explaining), but would this really affect anything?

ok, this is getting lengthy now...I'd appreciate any advice.

hmm, not sure if it's HU related or just receiving related. if you want a stock attena, i have one in classifies, ($1 plus shipping) or you can buy an attena at autozone. crutchfield sells frequency amplifiers that supposedly can increase receiving by 15db or something like that.

Anyone else come across radio noise solutions?
