i want to put an optima yellow top battery in my car, but the posts are on the wrong sides. i was just wondering if anyone knows a good way around that. thanks.

u can mount it upside down if you want too...turn it around.

You can get the Optima Orange top. It is a "reverse" post battery, meaning they are on the correct sides for our terminals. That's what I installed in my car.

It's also got cold cranking amps to spare (800) versus the stock battery (590).

Optima Orange Top here too.

I see that most of you guys have changed out the original battery cables. I would like to do the same thing. have you guys had better luck with any certain brand wire? also, haw hard was it to change the cables? i was also wondering what you guys did about those three little cables that connect to that plate thing that fits around the negative post?
