ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS check the gap and correct it if needed on fresh spark plugs.

NEVER, NEVER, NEVER, NEVER install new plugs without checking the gap and adjusting it if needed.

The emissions decall on the hood should have the spark plug gap. IIRC it is .052" to .056". My personal preference is to set it at the side end of the spec.

Buy a feeler gauge set. A proper feeler gauge set will have a tool to bend the ground electrode & be much more accurate. DO NOT use the cheap POS gapper disc's.

At 0.70 on the front bank do you think my CEL having a low CAT efficiency on rear bank makes sense ?

Well, couldn't get the AWSF's so I got the autolite DP's, same thing,and gapped to .50. Big difference. Thanks Demon.
