This is my first post on the forum. I have a 99 Mystique, 6 cyl, auto trans. I have the classical symptoms of moosing. Car howls when cold. It seems to be triggered by turning on the defroster. Stops upon accelerating; decreases when warm. I have two questions about it, one technical; one procedural.
1)When the engine is warm, the noise stops, *except* when I make turns; then it comes on again. Why is this?
2)TSB 96195 seems to apply only to 96 and 97 models. Is there a later one for later models? I want to be able to tell my dealer which TSB to look up. Thanks for any information and advice you can give me.
