I'm looking for an honest dealer or shop, in Houston, Texas to repair/service my 1999 Contour SVT. Any recommendations? I just turned over 40,900 miles and I love the car. I'm on my second set of KDW's. Stock except for a Nakamichi CD. Thanks. Mike

First, avoid Central Ford. mad I tried MacHaik, they are OK if you keep an eye on them so they finish the job. Their service writers haven't lied to me like the other jag-offs at Central did. A few of the men at work say Tommy Vaughn is good. We just bought another company truck and got it from them this time so we will be finding out soon. I think this "Blue Oval" thing they have going now is about as good as Chrysler's "Five Star" rating; a sales ploy. eek

Dear Responders,
Thanks for the input. Ive had poor success at MacHaik where I bought the car. Lots of time (usually two days per visit) and lots of returns (to get it right). I think I'll try Tommy Vaughn next. What is CT? Or which Honda shop likes SVT's? Thanks.
Mike
