i heard you have to add an extra foot of pipe since zetecs don't have a y-pipe.

I had the foot or so of pipe from my zetec exhaust cut and spliced into the SVT resonator. that makes it fit perfectly. Oh yeah, and the extra hanger ($3.50 at Autozone.)

Thanks Guys! Now I just need to find an SVT exhaust. Went to fordpartsonline, need to get part numbers from there. I'll have to check out the Classifieds as well...

Cars look awesome!

It would be better to go with a custom system than a SVT. You will only gain a few HP.

Custom duals would be pointless for 1 manifold.

I got a quote from Performance Ford online fo $460.00 for a new CAT back system. Don't know if I'm ready to swallow that yet. Got lots of other mods to go. contourd is going to hook me up with an SVT exhaust. I'm going for some HP, but mostly looks and sound.

Thanx for the input!

Ummmmm...IIRC they didn't say it would melt, they said it would send off toxic fumes into your car and you would suffocate and die!!!! But as far as melting...nawwwwww leave it in there.
