Okay Guru's and others,
I've just got this '95 Mystique and planning to install my old set up. I've got one McIntosh 10" Sub, 2 sets of 5.25 Component MB Quart PSC-213's, two Pioneer amps and a Pioneer 7200 Head. What's the best line to all the wires. I don't want to pull the car apart 8 times to get stuff right. Suggestions, Thoughts, Anecdotes, ...

I'm specially concerned about the Components, What's the best set up: Plates in stock positions or externally mounting the tweets

Tanks

Oops, I forgot the add-on single Cd player and 12disc

i reckon tweeters in sail panels or something would be best, www.knukonceptz.com for wire. many of the hardcore people here run the power line under the car enclosed in pvc pipe attached to the car. i ran my power along driver side (easy to put under trim) and rca and remote down center, all meeting at driver's side rear seat and into trunk. best would be power on driver side, rca or remote down middle and rca or remote down passenger side,

How did you get the RCA's throught the carpet and back seat area? I've been thinking about doing this on my new install.

It's not that hard. I did the same myself. You just have to remove the rear seatbench and the center console, then you can feed it through underneath the carpet.

not under carpet, i have power run along driver side until it reaches back seat, rca and remote under center console (just push them under it) and then they cross over under my seat and get stuffed under the driver's side trim where power is,,, they run up into the trunk from there.. it's easy to push them up under the seat (no reason to remove) helps to have two people but can be done by one. i put a plastic sandwich bag over power cable to keep it from snagging the seat.

Yeah. I've removed the center console once, wasn't hard at all. But I remember looking around the seat and I couldn't see how to remove it. As long as it isn't too hard I immagine I could do it.

I'm planning on getting a bunch of those sweet RCA's that Knukoncepts sells. And he's got some sweet 4 wire twisted pair speaker wire now too. Man...always one more thing to complete my install.
