It is in QCDealer, a web site that requires a password for access. QCDealer is available to all dealership personnel.

If I knew a way to copy a PDF file, I would copy it and post it for you. Since I can't, here is what I found. In a section called "other related documents" on the page with recall 01S23 there is a link to another message. That other message says:

01S23 / 01M08 10/08/01

"The combined customer letters for these programs have not yet been sent out due to quality issues relating to the spring shields. These issues are currently under investigation.

"Please note: The programs DO NOT affect SVT vehicles, and an owner letter will not be sent to these customers. However, it is possible that some of these vehicles may show up on OASIS. An OASIS message has also been written on the subject."

Then also in the administrative information section of the revised recall 01S23-S on page 1 of attachment 1 it reads:

"Spring shields should not be installed on any vehicle fitted with a non-standard tire. This information is listed on the vehicle certification label-located on the left B-pillar.)"

Print this out and take it with you. It should help.
