Just a smoother idle with the plugs and wires. Mobil 1 is great but why 10w30? 
The manual calls for 5w30.
hector I would of thought your 2000 would call for 5W20 cause I thought it was in 2000 that ford switched to 5w20 to give then a few tenths of a MPH more per vechicle to make them lok better in the gov reports. I know my sister's focus which is a 2000 says 5w20 and my room mates truck says 5w20
