Are you going to reuse the old hydraulic lifters with new cams? Shouldn't one switch to solid lifters... and then spend hours adjusting their thickness just right?

I'm told that cams and lifters "wear into" each other and that even just moving hydraulic lifters around between one hole and another, with the same camshaft, can risk creating a spot where it wears through the case-hardening.

You'll need to convert to mechanical lifters to use those cams. hope someone corrects me if I'm wrong, but you may not have the correct valve stem lengths, and may have to play with ZX2 instead of ZX3 lifters as I don't think the latter have shims(just a choice of lifter top thickness).
They're definitely not bolt ins.

If I've done my research correctly you don't need new lifters for the street cam. I would still recommend using brand new hydrolic lifters but if the ones you have in the motor are still in good shape, why not. For the Sport R/modded motor cam I'm going to call them pretty soon to find out what exactly we have to have.
About mechanical lifters(I hate'em) I have an old dodge pickup with mechanical lifters and it makes clicking noises like a diesel and I really didnt gain much in power. From the looks of it all of these cams should go in without much trouble, Kent cams makes these to basically just bolt up,if you don't consider the timing adjustments and all.
