You do realize that I was mocking you, correct? Honestly, what you've been posting in this thread is absolutely

Um. ok you got me on that one. Let me see if I can salvage some dignity and come up with a reply now. It's gonna be hard seeing as I was shamed by you, but I beileve I can manage.

Your quote to a relative Newbie T-RedSVT quote:

"""""/////Ever hear of a torque wrench??\\\""

Reading is FUN-da-mental. My response was not to a newbie, it was to your quote. That is why I included your quote in my response.

I am sure
Silver Bullit wants you to tell him to just "Just use a Torque wrench"

Your prolly right, but once again, I was not talking to him (evident by my use of YOUR quote).

WITHOUT TELLING HIM NOT TO OVERTORQUE THE PLUGS USING ANTI-SEIZE. YOU ASSUMED THIS GUY/GAL KNEW THAT HE HAS TO UNDERTORQUE BASED ON DRY SPEC TORQUE!!!!

OK Einstien, what do you honestly think it will do if you use antisieze, and then torque your plugs to factory specs? Do I need to get Brinn Riley in here to quote some complex engineer dribble to show you that it prolly only throws the torque off what, 1 ft/lb? Get a life.

So don't get mad at me for caring about accurate information and protecting other peoples rides from people like you giving half/truths. I know, I should respect the fact that you are so full of yourself that you can't admit when your wrong, But I don't!!!

Oh God, I am not gonna be able to sleep tonight, knowing that based on your incredible knowledge from watching "Crank-n-Chrome" on TNN, that I have given my fellow CEG'ers the wrong torque specs! Get a life gobbler boy.

Read the entire post:: Idiot! You being the ******* that you are had to feed off Elizabeth's post about not knowing how to use a torque wrench.

All I said was "P.s> some discussion earlier about the use of the antiseize. It is warned not to use this product as you end up overtorquing
the plugs and you know what will happen.....

Thats when you and Elizabeth got your panties in a bunch!

I was simply quoting a FAQ recent post about some indication that anti-seize might not be all that it was made out to be!

Refresher: ""P.s> some discussion earlier about the use of the antiseize. It is warned not to use this product as you end up overtorquing
the plugs and you know what will happen.....

Ah said nottin' about no torque wRench in mah first post on this topic... Ah does it by "FEEL". I said somtin 'bout "HAM FISTED" meanin' OVERZEALOUS AND INAPPROPRIATE FORCE bein' applied. So's tink o' it as a 4mm bolt an' yo won strip nuttink. Really a 6mm bolt is more like a 1/4" bolt but I was tinkin' "on-de-fly"... so's fegif me. As to Torque WENCH I may change mah moniker tos dat. Ifin you tinks yo NEED dat torque wrench, make sure its one specifically designed for the smaller values... Using one that goes up to 250ft-pounds is a bad idea... as it is usually not accurate at small values like a spark plug. And yeah, the antisieze will mean to value of the spec should be lowered slightly if the torque is spec'ed dry. As this has caused my brain to warp I took the sparkplugs out of my car and am using CARROTS
But my car does not go very well with "carrot plugs"...???? And my panties were in a bunch way BEFORE this!!!!
===================================
so do you think "CRANK" is careful to keep HIS panties all smooth and neat?
