After 28,000 miles and more than two years of various intake setups including the SCA CAI w/ S&B (gauze), CAI w/ MonsterFlow (foam), MonsterFlow w/ KKM adapter, and S&B w/ KKM adapter, I reinstalled my stock SVT airbox with a Purolator paper filter last week. Maybe it's also the recent colder weather but wow what a difference. No more heatsoak (I also do mostly city) and torque steer is a bit stronger too. The engine sound is muted but it still sounds Really Good.

Against my previous stance, I may end up with a K&N drop-in, if just for the filtering efficiency.
