Thanks for the advice guys!

I think I will try the toothpaste first. Not only because I have it on hand, but also because I remember reading in Grassroots Motorsports recently that they used toothpaste to renew some old tail lights. I hadn't thought about using it on my headlights!!

If that doesn't do it, I'll move on to something more serious!
