Ok, I have looked around here and all I see is about the HVAC and all that stuff. But nothing with how to take apart the dash. I got the paint for it (silver). Now I need to take it apart. I can take apart where the CD player is but that is about it.  So, I need to know how to take apart the dash! All help and hint will be appreciated

You've got the one part I could never get!! OK, here's what you do: there are 5 screws that hold in the upper black piece. 1 is directly behind the window defrost button (just pop it out), 2&3 are above the gauge cluster, 4&5 are behind the long oval that says "Contour" or whatever you have, it just pops out, too. The little piece around the headlight switch, IIRC, you have to take out the cover under the steering wheel and you'll see the screws. Are you going to paint other things? I.E.->door handles, cup holder, shifter plate, etc.?

right-click on the banana and choose "save picture as" if you use IE... should be similar in other browsers... I'll soon be converting to Linux so I'll find out for myself what other browsers do (I haven't used Netscape since it was version 2.0 and IE was horrifically worse).

That part was really easy. I just pulled it out. I am going to be doing everything that can come off.

Well, the center console comes out, also every single piece of plastic trim comes out, I'd limit it to just the black pieces.

One of the cheapest, but most time consumong mods I've done yet. IMHO well worth it. Especially after I put in the Pre-98 Console
