I have a '98 Contour GL Sport (soon to be heading to a junk yard ), with some cloth on the door panels. I recently bought a used '99 Contour SE Sport and the door panels are all vinyl/plastic. What I was wondering was there any solid gray cloth door panels sold on the Contour. I like the look of the cloth on the door panels, but my '98 has different colors mixed in with it. Since my seats in my '99 are all gray, the door panels don't really match the best. Any info would greatly be appreciated. Mike

Check with Bill at Signature.
I like the cloth in my 96 better than the fake crap they put my SVT. the 96 feels more comfortable with these little subtle differences.

Hmmm...I like the plastic Contour doorpanels better, they have a more "european" look, but maybe I judt don't like the fact that the cloth covers WAYYYY too much of the door, I like my Mystique doorpanels where only a little portion is cloth, it looks much mure upscale.

Our Tahoe had a very small cloth part on the doorpanels, and it had leather seats, it was a VERY soft cloth though, almost like suede...ahh I miss that truck, cargo areas are good to sleep in on long trips

I really don't like the "cheap" look of all plastic. What little bit of cloth that is on the door panels help break it up. Maybe I am just screwed in the head. My brother had bought a 2000 'Tour and I never really liked his interior because of that. But since I totalled out my '98, I had to get another 'Tour, but a little bit better, ya know Duratec instead of the Zetec and of course, the 5-speed instead of the Auto. It really is a shame that the old lady doesn't know how to drive a manual . Mike
