I know what you mean. My SVT doesnt outrun any standard Duratec Contours either. You would have thought that SVT would have breathed a little more life into the engine but for some reason they chose not to. Oh well geuss I'll have to take care of that if I keep the car. I'm lucky as I will not have to buy anything to take care of the problem. I have plenty of things in the shop to take care of that, just my time and labor. We will see what happens.
