Head rest on driver's side flops around like a chicken with its neck broken. Is this repairable?

I just left mine. One less thing to worry about when it is already broken.

Me and my ex-girlfriend broke my headrest. I'd just check the junk yard for a new one.

if you are slightly mechanicaly incline it will take about 3/4 of an hour to repair , the head rest is attached to the bar's by two hard plastic rings that have a bolt thru one end that attaches it to the head rest and tighten,s up around the bar. the problem is the bolt has pulled thru the head rest. up have to take the cover off .there is a seam on the bottom you need a small screw driver to pry it open . it is a plastic seam not a sewen one . take the cover off at the same time taking the foam cushon with it.
once you got the cover off you will see the problem. drill
a 1 inch hole over each bolt hole and put a long BOLT & WASHER thru from the inside { you will have to do some drilling to make hole,s bigger so the new nut and bolt fit }.put the nut on and tighten up. when done cover hole,s with duck tape so foam dosen,t get chewed up. slide cover on closing the seam is alot harder than opening it.
Sorry this was so long . Good luck. i went thru all this because i,m to cheap ta buy another one.

Thanks...I'll see what I can do. It sounds like if I can get the seam open without tearing everything up, the rest will make sense when I see it...Thanks again.
