I once (about 97 years ago) went 100 on farm roads in central Ill...nice straight roads flat as a table w/ no one around. It was in spring so corn did not yet obstruct view of anyone entering. One or two of my tires was messed up after that. Never gone over about 85 since then.
My bro lived with a State troopers son and knew all the local boys, they told him they're taught that on the freeway anyway, not to even bother with anyone doing 5-10 over, cause it's basically a waste of time. If you stay between 5-10 over and blend in like everyone says, you shou7ld be good to go.
