I haven't committed myself to a tire yet so if anyone out there wants to add there $.02 worth.

Where are you getting these price quotes? The KDWS price of $185 installed is a lot better than I have found. Would love to know.

The quote for the KDWS was from J&D tire in Milton Ontario. Their phone # is (905) 876-4788. I was ready to jump on those tires but the sales guy really didn't recommend it for winter driving.

I have KDWS's and they handle great in wet and dry conditions, although I have not tried them in snow yet, but probably won't have to worry about that, becuase we haven't had a lot of snow here for years.

Like jpat225 there hasn't been much snow around here for years (or maybe centuries) but I have KDWS tires and they are an exceptional tire for every type of driving I have encountered.

One big advantage over the Dunlop is that the KDWS is a Z rated tire and it gives up very little if anything for the driving you will encounter the rest of the year. IIRC the Dunlop is an H rated tire.

In the past others have posted that the KDWS was as good of an all season tire in the snow as anything else out there and better than most. I hope someone with experience with the KDWS in snow also replies.

Thanks ... I'm in Vancouver but it would be hard to believe that someone around here couldn't match that price.
