It is a rush for me so I don't spend the money I have for this hood.

Dang! We're going as fast as we can.

Okay, MFGR says it's most likely doable. Has to talk to the factory to get a quote for carbon fiber. He'll get back to me within a few days he says. Sorry this is taking so long. But at least we have a hood picked and are TALKING to people to get them made now, eh?

Take your time. j/k. I want this hood as quick as the next guy, but i just bought another set of wheels and got in on the carbon fiber splitter group buy, so i'm in no rush to get this hood as far as cash goes.

But i'll be ready when the time comes .

One question I don't think was asked: Will the CF hood utilize the OE hardware, both mounting and the latch? Or, do I need to get bleeping hood pins? If hood pins are required, count me out. I need/want everything to be stealthy...

yeah, that's a consideration for me, stock mounts to the latch and everything? And what about the windshield nozzle washer holes, can we stick those in as well??

I really dont like hood pins either, but I've heard due to the light weight of the hood it is an added safety measure to prevent your hood from flying up. I really dont care about the washer sprayers, but I would rather not have them. If it does not come with the sprayer holes for all you guys getting the turbo, with the front mount you can relocate the sprayers to your front bumper and angle them on the intercooler. Fill up the reservoir with ice and water, then spray the hell out of your intercooler and go race!!! its all about free mods!!!!

no washer nozzles!!! Use a squeegie, I never use my winshield washer, my reserviour has been dry for the better part of a year. I don't even know if it works anymore! You cna add the nozzles yourself later if you have to have them, drill a hole and put them in. Also, hood pins only if necessary, they really dont' go with this car, at all.
