Dang you guys respond too fast for me.

With this style hood we may be able to get a smaller quantity for 'minimum production', so we'll see what we can do! As far as getting the hood made, depends on which of the two mfgrs we choose or works best. I gotta make some phone calls over the next couple of days and see what I can get worked out, but this seems like the hood you guys want, so let's go for this?

As far as a concern brought up in a previous post of people not ponying up the cash when it comes time, let me explain how DEVIOUSDEV and I do group buys and why we have never failed one yet (After many of them).

1- We speak to the mfgr, find out minimum amount needed and production costs, time required, shipping costs, etc. Once we are certain of what need to be committed, we prep the group buy.

2- We tell people how many we need and how much it will cost. We take money up front. If we don't reach the minimum amount for the group buy, then we send refunds to everyone. If we receive checks we don't cash until we have minimum amount. If we receive PayPal we use the PayPal refund feature.

3- Order is placed, money paid. When the order is done they get shipped to the customers (you guys).

I realize this requires some trust on your behalf, which is why I stressed you to check us out on the NECO forums as to our credibility. We've transacted thousands of dollars worth of group buys with no issues.

I can vouch for NorCalCoug and his GBs. Check NECO if you don't believe me!

I'm still interested. I'll check this as often as i can, but if it gets off the ground and i haven't been heard of, someone needs to let me know. I'm not always hanging around the group buy forum and sometimes by the time i see something i like, i missed it.

So, i'm still in.
