I am staying clear of the blizzaks - a buddy of mine had them on his Mustang, and completely shredded them in one year. The were WAY too soft, squealed around every corner in the dry, and handled like sh!t. You could actually feel the tire sliding all over the road. (And this was a V6 'stang, not a GT!)
I'm sure they handle great in the snow, but let's face it - with the winters we've been getting lately, it'll be warm and dry out quite a bit. I want a tire that will last more than one year, and will still allow me to drive a little "spirited".
I'll continue to look into the other tires, but eventually it may just come down to price.
*I should also state that this was 2 years ago that I rode in the car with the Blizzaks, and I don't know what model they were, so maybe the tires have improved since then.
