I used the ice tracs on my 300ZX a couple of years back. They were pretty good, and a good deal. I also have had Arctic Alpins, which did a good, but not great job of keeping 315 lb/ft of torque driving the rear wheels of my T-Bird SC.
On the other had, I have been in a car with Good Year's snow tires (the name escapes me...), and they were absolutely great in snow.
