I understand what your saying, but basically I bought the wrong factory cassette player. If I would have purchased one that had Premium Sound, then I would be able to swap them out no problem because the connectors are identical? Sounds reasonable - thanks for the input.
Anybody out there need a non-Premium Sound cassette player from a 1999 C?
