The squeak just won't go away in my 99 CSVT. I've greased everything, including the bar under the car as per the FAQ. Nothin'.
I tried some tricks with my seats (putting some cloth under then to force then a bit higher and tighter). That helped for a bit. But now it's back. And, I greased the hell out of the brake line clip. Nothin'. It definately seems to be coming from the rear seat area. Happens over bumps. It really is driving me nuts. Any ideas - please?

How about if you take the seat out, and then drive it? This should tell you if it is or is not associated with the seat.

not a bad idea. Thanks. How do I take the seat out? Are there clips or levers?

I've found that if you pop the rear seats (pull the lever in the trunk) many noises go away. Maybe you could try that.

To remove the rear seat cushion. 1 Push the cushion towards the backrest to disengage the retaining clips. 2 Lift the cushion up to remove.

I had the same problem, the pahelstic clip that hold the seat down were the culprit. It's impossible to get them out w/o breaking them although i have tried to remove the seat by pushing it back first.
