have u seen pvc actually damage an engine??? i have heard of many people using without damaging the engine. It seems to me that of course it will let off gases, but doesn't get hot enough under the hood to do that.

You guys hear that? Toxic...not to your engine; to you! Lay out the extra $10-$15 and go have a piece of exhaust pipe custom bent. It would most likely fit under your hood better and it looks better!

Oh yeah, the inside would be smoother, which means more air velocity; which equals more power!

ever touch your engine after it has been running??? I have and if you had a metal intake like me you would know where the intake is it gets hot too. and where the hell did I say it would damage the engine???? it will damage you and any passengers in your car.

Even if you don't have the answer, you certainly have to admire the problem.

I like that exaust shop idea.. Or maybe even if you know a good roofer or something, Don't they have to bend gutters? Start saving your pennies and just get the CTA Intake, hell maybe by the time your done saving the D Davis Street Flight will be out. At least you won't suffocate yourself, especially with winter coming, windows up and heat on

sorrrry, i thought u were like all these other people, (not in zetec forums) saying it will kill engine. I could care less if it's letting a little toxic gas into cab, i never use a/c and our winters are short, so much doesn't get to me anyways. Hopefully it'll be coming off around christmas though.
