I don't know what the Mobil 1 costs, but you could call a local distributor for K&N and get them to order their filter. Or, pay Summit $8 extra per order and get some (I order a few at a time from Summit to spread that across a few filters, but I put way more miles on than you do).
Advance Auto carries K&N, and Autozone carries Mobil 1. I've been running K&N HP-2010 since I owned the car, and I believe the Mobil 1 would perform as good and it cost basically the same. But since I've been using K&N, I don't really see a reason of switching. I also like the big hex nut at the bottom of the K&N very much; don't need to use a strap wrench or cup wrench, just use a adjustable wrench that I used to take the drain plug out (but I use the pilers lately when I change it at work).
