u work at putt-putt too? cool, is u'r boss mean too? everyone always wants to work at putt-putt, but then they do and either quit or get fired real quick. they actually used some ngk plugs once in some of our stuff, no idea why since they normally use champion.
Naaa not mean at all, she goes to my church and knew me when I was little. I get FREE PIZZA from there too!! Woo Hoo!! Man it seems like something breaks every week!!! Mostly clutches, because the other guys don't know how to CHECK THE OIL!!! But all that a side it's pretty fun

I personally don't see the point in using a good oil like Amsoil, especially one that can be used for extended drain intervals, along with such a poor filter. Where's that oil filter study link when I need it ... ? Oh, here it is. Enjoy!

Can you explain why you are more happy with it than regular dino oil? Were you unhappy with regular oil?

Can anyone tell me what Dino oil is? I also would like to know the benfits of synthetic oil over conventional oil?
Mobil one makes 5W-30 tri synthetic and super synthetic correct, what is the difference?

dino oil = conventional oil
The name likely comes from the origin of conventional oil - pressurized fossilized remains of previous living creatures, like dinosaurs and plants!

Last question first: Tri-synthetic was the old label. SuperSyn is the new label. Slightly different formulation, but still good. Your first question was already answered. Oil originates from the era of the Dinosaurs. Now, as to your middle question: Read this article about synthetics and then come back. There will be a quiz on Friday.

Amsoil.com But I use Mobil 1 with a Motorcraft filter. (Used Fram for the firs 50k miles. ) Thinking of trying a Mobil 1 filter on the next change, but splitting hairs at this point. Why not Amsoil? I just don't put enough miles on the car to make it worthwhile, since I actually do less than 10k per year, and the Amsoil recommendations are 25k or 12 months, IIRC.
