I have a question. People are saying put in 6L of Mobil 1. What kinda Mobil 1? theres two types right? 5 something and 10 something? which do I want? also how do I know what oil filter I want? and which one do you guys suggest? thanks in advance ps this is my first time trying to change my own oil, this is why I ask.

yes use 5w30 i put in 6 qts. and go with the motorcraft filter

There are 4 types that I know of - 0w30, 5w30, 10w30, 15w40. I'd use 5w30 as recommended in the manual. I always put 6 quarts in if not more.

The ford dealership when I was in Florida put synthetic oil in my car. I've heard of the benefits but never used it until now. I'm happy with it so far.

also 5w20 (which you can use as well), 5w50, and 20w50...use the 5w50 in our go carts at putt putt...dont really know why

u work at putt-putt too? cool, is u'r boss mean too? everyone always wants to work at putt-putt, but then they do and either quit or get fired real quick. they actually used some ngk plugs once in some of our stuff, no idea why since they normally use champion.
