Something is fishy IMO here...
If your Philips-based autolamps kit failed then why didn't you just contact autolamps and let them know about it?
I have a good idea that Nick (or anybody else there) would take into consideration how long you've had the kit and work something out with you.
It sounds to me as if you've bought that kit on ebay or something...or whoever you bought it from told you they got it at autolamps.
Truth is, if you bought a "Kit" for retrofitting into a Halogen application, the above-pictured kit will not fit on a standard halogen-based HID bulb. Period.
So, this is not a "kit". This is a picture of 2 ballasts (which are Philips). This has nothing to do with autolamps but everything (maybe-depending on cause of failure) to do with Philips.
Please, guys...take a deep breath and settle down here.
What lamps do Contours use???

So whatever halogen lamp your cars use then your picture should have that base on it...but it doesn't.
Ballasts fail-I've had one fail on my already (bought brand new-----from the other company mentioned in California) after about 20 hours.
