I agree 100%!! What's the point of a club if you are going to hide what you've got from other members. A club should be here to help each other and ooo and ahh over what is going on and say "D@mn Dude!, that is cool as hell!" or "you know what? I tried this last month and it worked 200% better this way." I club should be supportive. Hide what you've got from other clubs but not from your own club! We should use each others knowledge and experience to lift the club up as a whole. If I knew everything about these cars I would be the first to offer up the info but I don't. That's why I'm in the CEG in the first place, to gain information. If I happen to make a few friends in the process than that would be great. If not, no biggie. Some of you have become friends though, and losing friendships suck so why chance it? Keep the bickering off line and you might make some more friends.
Again, my opinion from my perspective.

ack! i have trouble seeing what everyone gets so mad about in here, we're all friends, right? lets keep it that way!

meets are fun and always more car-oriented than anything else (havent been to one in a while though!) when im there i always have a good time (showing off )

Most meets are more than 4-5 guys and we do like to talk about what we did to our cars. I learn something new every meet.

I post in other car message boards and people get real emotional about their car tastes, like sports teams.

FYI: Clubs for Mustangs, Falcons and even Chevy Corvairs have been around since the 60's and they are like families. I seen pics of meets with whole clans attending, not just the car guys. Could learn a few things from them.

Again, online it's easy to say "&^%$#**", but at a meet it's all fine.

I say if you start a flame war, pick up the phone and call each other and settle it.
