I have looked on the level 10 website, and although they probably are a good idea for anyone having tranny problems or doing a lot of mods, there kits don't actually say anything about reducing drivetrain loss. Now I know they build ATX's that have a very low loss, (supposedly much less than a STOCK MTX), but I also know these will be much out of my price range. They also sell a kit that you can shift an ATX like a MTX, but again, extremely expensive. (a little over $1,000.00) And for that you are giving up an ATX's only advantage (exact shifting).
I think I will do as Roadrunner suggested, and get a used contour with a MTX, and just make the switch. Has anybody done this, anything I should watch out for? How long should i expect this to take?
Thank you all, and by the way, This is a great site, and I am very impressed that you all have managed to put together such a great community.
