level ten transmissions are used by many racers with ATXs that have heavily modded that cars, it can definetly handle the power (atleast 600hp) think about it this way, computer with programmed shifts controls a very efficient atx to shift exactly at the right time and smoothly every time, with a torque convertor and other things to lose less HP,,, show me a driver that shifts at the exact time every time needed in a mtx (if you do, i bet he owns something better than a 'tour ((if that exists

)) something such as ferrari and he's paid millions of dollars to do this shifting out on the track. a level ten transmission is more than just a rebuild, it is made to handle losts of power and have less drivetrain loss than mtx and shift better than a mtx... this is probably why the cost what they cost. sure u can do some good stuff to a mtx, but the level ten will still outshine it 9 out 10 times (maybe 10 out of 10 times).
