It's very unfair; I know. You do not get charged duty on car parts if your car is an antique. In Ontario this means the car has to be at least 30 years old, and not 25 years old as other states and provinces. I own 5 antique cars and I always make sure that the package is labelled antique car parts. If the shipper is willing,(and not all are) have them mark the container/box "Antique car parts" even if it is for a 1998 Contour or whatever. Every little bit helps.
