So, it's last Thursday and I'm headed home looking forward to 4 days off and winning some money in Vegas (which didn't happen, BTW). I get passed by an Integra w/ clear taillamps and a VTEC badge. Not bad looking - no crazy wing, nice rims, sounded okay. He goes by and because of traffic up 56th St. I manage to keep him in sight w/ no effort. I'm hoping we get to play down the road somewhere...
We both manage to catch the light at 56th and the 101. He's on the left (inside turn lane) and I'm on the right. He revs a couple times. I don't bother because it wouldn't be audible anyway. Light turns green and we both roll out fairly normally. About halfway through the turn he hits it and so do I. I put his front bumper at my rear doors and we both chirp second. He stays on it, but loses another 5 ft. or so. After that he lets off so I can merge over safely.
I let off at the middle of 3rd hoping he'd come back up so I could give a thumbs-up. Didn't happen. He stayed about 200 yards behind me the whole time until we get under I-17 when he blasts past me and several other cars, weaving through traffic all the way.
I could tell he had at least one passenger.
