Duratec oiling systems are marginal. If you like to drive around at 6K+ RPM's, especially during hard cornering expect a blown motor. Mine is a '95 with over 100,000 miles and still have the original timing chain system. When I do my clutch I'll upgrade to the '96 and newer type. I change my oil religiously and use only the best synthetics. I also never run hard until the engine is up to proper operating temperature. And I use the block heater YEAR ROUND!
