Settle down little fella! In time, in time..... Why don't you think my jocks aren't in a bundle waiting for this thing. I keep looking at my credit card balance and tell my self, "It'll be worth, it'll be worth it!" I should have one of the most comprehensively modified Contours come spring time, next to Buckshot that is.... I don't think I'll ever get rid of it either, who else would pay me what it's worth??

The e-Manage on the other hand, even though it has the capability of adjusting timing, needs a laptop at the least as well as extra software. Als as far as I know, Warmonger is the only guy who has worked out how to adjust timing with it, as it required him to build a separate "box" to allow the e-manage to converse with the Ford ECU.
So as long as you're staying N/A I would go the S-AFC for simplicity's sake.
Stazi, You are correct in what you have said, especially as far as the cool display and its simplicity to use. However, there is a little more to the story that I can help with. The emanage can adjust timing with the aid of the extra 'box' my partner and I made, OR it apparently can be hard-wired into the ecu where the ignitor (mosfet transistors) are mounted and used to modify the signal before the ignitors are fired. Don't consider this timing feature in your decision to buy yet. Anyway, just comparing the SAFC to the eMAnage on the basis of fully functional features out of the box the eManage still can do more. It will allow you to control the MAF with a 16x16 air/fuel map and it also allows you to tap into the stock injectors so you can alter the injector pulse-width to add more fuel as necessary using another 16x16 injector map. This added benefit allows you to add fuel by lengthening the injector signal coming from the pcm, enabling you to completely tune the A/F curve precisely at any rpm, throttle position, and airflow volume. If that isn't enough, you can do real time data acquisition with the software and read things such as the injector duty cycle and pulse-width as well as many others while you are driving. There are other things that can be done but I am not here to sell emanages. If push comes to shove, I would recommend them in the following order based on cost/performance. 1. TwEECer 2. eManage 3. SAFC 4. SHM Mafterburner my 50 cents. warmonger
