I just put the DMD pulley on my car tonight and I started the engine up and I noticed a rhythmic noise coming from the back valve cover the side with the timing chains. The noise may have been previously and not heard.

A little back ground on my tour I had it for a year now no problems till this, it has 76,000 miles on it. I have done some mods but other than a water pump and the DMD pulley nothing to the motor, but I have SVT/ ST200 UIM/LIM, cold air intake, with a BAT y pipe in the wings.

So any help with my noise would be much appreciated.

Check out the 'DMD' posts with the search facility. There are many.
It could be the harmonic balancing is off. Also could be a slight problem the hydraulic tensioner and chain looser than normal.
